One of my photos is up for sale on Ebay without my consent. I followed the Ebay protocols and have been getting the run around.
I sent them an email only to get an email back asking me to restate the original email. I did so and got another email back asking me to print out a form, fill out all my personal information and snail mail it to them and they will look into the matter. I sent them another email and refused to do so letting them know that if action isn't taken immediately they will be contacted by legal counsel.
The image can be found here..... Ebay: [link]: [link]
If you have some extra time please visit the ebay page in question and register a complaint with them as well, it would be much appreciated.

I'm wondering where they got the image from, was it a screen grab then up-sized using genuine fractals, or they might just send a pixilated image.
Funny how the image date is 1950-present.
When I have time later I'll try send a compliant.
It really amazes me how low some people will sink to make a buck... luckily the image was removed yesterday after some emails back and forth with ebay though
I filed a complaint to german ebay and tried to help him. Now there seems to be some movement: [link]
It seemed I was getting the run around for a while but then I got a similar form and sent it off to them and the next day the image was removed so happy now
Luckily though ebay was actually pretty good about things and deleted the image yesterday though for which I am very thankful
I had a very bad experience with ebay a few months back - won't use that site again...
Good luck.
The seller is well known to photographers here in japan it seems, they simply do searches on sites like DA and flikr for Japanese images and steal the screenshots. The funny thing is they then advertise the small screenshots as hi-res omages up to 10X10. It amazes me how low some people will sink to make a buck but luckily ebay turned out to be pretty good about everything in the end an the image was removed yesterday.
I would never buy anything from ebay though... too many scammers out there, I'd much rather spend a bt more and know what I'm getting then take my chances with anything there.
