Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Ebay Rip - Please Help

One of my photos is up for sale on Ebay without my consent. I followed the Ebay protocols and have been getting the run around.

I sent them an email only to get an email back asking me to restate the original email. I did so and got another email back asking me to print out a form, fill out all my personal information and snail mail it to them and they will look into the matter. I sent them another email and refused to do so letting them know that if action isn't taken immediately they will be contacted by legal counsel.

thats amazing how you even found out your images were being stolen like that..its unfortunate that these things happen, especially to you! and I hope this does not deter you from sharing your art online. one idiot can so easily ruin it for everyone else to enjoy good art.

To be honest it wasn't really a huge issue.... the print being offered was a 10X10 enlargement of a low-res screen shot stolen from here on DA so it would have looked like crap anyway, it was just the idea of someone else making money from my efforts pissed me off somewhat

It happened to another guy I know personally and a mutual friend of ours who is here on DA was checking out the other guys pic and noticed mine there as well. there are many others as well, I recognize one from `foureyes but I have no idea about the rest. I noted him to let him know as well.

My pleasure on the feature by the way, it's a beautiful piece
